No. This is intentional. Enduring Wilderness uses your device’s step counter rather than continuously tracking your location, so gameplay is not restricted by where you live or where you walk. It also avoids continuous GPS usage and allows the core experience to work without requiring a constant internet connection.
Does Enduring Wilderness use real-world weather?
No. Weather and environmental conditions are simulated within the game. This keeps progression and survival conditions consistent for everyone instead of rewarding or punishing players based on their real-world location, climate, or weather.
Will Enduring Wilderness have multiplayer?
Enduring Wilderness is primarily a single-player game. Planned multiplayer features are focused on nearby Bluetooth interactions, such as trading with other players, with other local interactions still being explored.
