1. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices of Plague Products ("we," "our," or "us") for our websites and online services where this policy is linked, and for Enduring Wilderness as specifically described below. Different services process different information; the website practices described here do not automatically apply to the game.

2. Plague Products Website

2.1 Information Processed

Visitors do not need to register for an account to use our public website. Delivering web pages involves processing technical request information, such as your IP address, browser and request metadata, and request time. This information supports delivery, operation, security, and reliability of the website. Our website also uses the analytics described in Section 2.2.

2.2 Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand website traffic, usage patterns, and site performance so we can improve website content and usability. Analytics information may include:

  • pages viewed and site interactions or events,
  • browser and device information,
  • referring websites,
  • dates, times, and general usage information, and
  • approximate geographic information.

Your IP address is necessarily processed when your browser communicates with Google's services. Google may use it for purposes such as security and deriving approximate geographic information. Google states that Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses as an Analytics data field. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, or similar directly identifying information to Google Analytics.

2.3 Cookies and Analytics Consent

Google Analytics may use first-party cookies, including cookies such as _ga, or similar identifiers to distinguish visitors and measure website usage. Google Analytics loads only after you choose "Accept analytics." If you reject analytics or have not made a choice, we do not load Google Analytics or send Analytics measurement requests, including cookieless measurement requests.

Administrative sign-in uses session and security cookies for functions such as authentication and protection against forged requests. These administrative functions are separate from public browsing and analytics measurement.

We store your analytics choice, preference version, and timestamp in your browser's local storage for 180 days. After it expires, or if you clear this storage or we change the preference version, we ask again. This is a local preference record, not a centralized consent history. If your browser blocks storage, acceptance applies only to the current page.

2.4 Service Providers and External Resources

Website technical and analytics information is processed by Google Analytics and infrastructure or resource providers used to operate and deliver the site.

Our website uses Google Analytics, Google Fonts, and externally hosted resources delivered through content delivery networks. When your browser requests resources directly from these providers, they may receive technical request information such as your IP address, browser and request metadata, and timestamps. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Links from our website to other services take you to services governed by their own privacy policies.

2.5 Website Data Retention

Website analytics retention is governed by the applicable Google Analytics property retention settings.

2.6 Website Privacy Choices

You can control cookies through your browser settings or opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Website visitors can accept or reject analytics and use "Analytics preferences" in the footer to change their choice wherever website analytics is offered. Withdrawing consent stops further Analytics measurement and reloads the page to unload the tag. We save rejection when browser storage permits and make a best-effort attempt to remove GA cookies accessible to this site. Browser, domain, path, and provider restrictions mean we cannot guarantee removal of every cookie or identifier. Withdrawal does not delete information Google previously received. Browser cookie controls and the Google Analytics opt-out tool linked above provide additional choices.

3. Enduring Wilderness

Plague Products does not collect user data through Enduring Wilderness or share Enduring Wilderness user data with third parties. Step and physical activity information used by the game is processed locally on the user's device and is not transmitted to Plague Products.

Enduring Wilderness is a walking-based survival game. The website Google Analytics practices described in Section 2 do not apply to the game.

3.1 Step and Physical Activity Information

The Android version requests Physical Activity permission to access the device's step information for core gameplay. Real-world steps drive exploration, gathering, and other step-based progression systems.

Step information is processed locally on your device. Plague Products does not receive this information, and it is not sold or shared with third parties. It is not used for advertising, medical diagnosis, or treatment. Enduring Wilderness is not a medical or health-monitoring service.

3.2 Game Save and Settings Data

The game stores progress and settings locally on your device to maintain your progress and preferences. Eligible data may also be backed up and restored through Android or Google as described in Section 3.3. Enduring Wilderness does not use Plague Products player accounts, an online account database, or a Plague Products cloud-save service.

3.3 Android Backup and Device Transfer

Enduring Wilderness participates in Android's operating-system backup and device-transfer system for eligible game save and settings data. Depending on your device and backup configuration, Android or Google may back up this data and restore it when you reinstall the game or move to another Android device. Plague Products does not operate Google's Android backup storage or directly access your backup copies. This service is subject to Google's applicable policies and your backup settings.

3.4 Game Data Retention and Deletion

Local game data generally remains until cleared, overwritten, removed through normal application or device behavior, or otherwise deleted by you. Use "Clear Save Data" to remove locally controlled game progress and settings. Uninstalling Enduring Wilderness generally removes local application data from that device, but eligible copies may remain in Android or Google backup according to your backup configuration and Google's retention practices. Those copies may be restored during reinstallation or device transfer; clearing local data or uninstalling does not guarantee deletion of backup copies.

3.5 Enduring Wilderness Privacy Choices

Enduring Wilderness players can manage Physical Activity permission in device settings, disable Step Tracking in the game, and use "Clear Save Data." Denying or revoking permission or disabling Step Tracking limits the game's intended step-based mechanics and progression. You can also manage Android or Google backup through the available device and account settings.
